So excited to get back to fishing off these docks! Bought fresh new jigs yesterday even. A boat is not always needed of course, although gives you many more fishing options 😉

We had a measly 10 dollar pool going and our son won, go figure!

Christina Lake is open May 14th, in time for May long .. stop~ contain yourself..!! Sawbones Bay & Tributaries Opening June 1st.

New this year is no keepers of Northern Pikes and as always our Walleyes are catch and release only for fun sportsmanship… 🙂

While you’re away enjoying some warmer temps, we will be staying put for a quiet week at home getting our machines ready for the lake, digging out the rods, boat is getting unwrapped in the coming weeks and going in for a tune up…What’s your Spring Break looking like?

~Are we too early to countdown the days to May long?…nahh

Our family has such a love for the May long weekend at the lake; taking in that first real breath of the fresh spring air, sipping morning coffees down at the docks while tuning up and re threading the family rods …                                                                                                                                   Total Bliss!   

Hunger strikes at about 10am for us…what’s a morning without breakfast from the chalet? delicious food, no cooking or clean-up for us and good pricing….we’re always in for that!
