We are pleased to announce that Christina Lake Lodge will be open to guests beginning Friday, May 21st, 2021. Provided below is some information to help you plan your stay.

Seasonal Lot Renewal

As we do each year, we will offer guests from the prior season the ability to renew their lot rental agreement before we open reservations to the general public. The lot renewal deadline for the 2021 season is April 15th.

COVID-19 Prevention Measures and Modified Services

As we look ahead to the upcoming 2021 season, we are mindful that COVID-19 is still an ongoing risk to public health. Our team has been working in close consultation with medical professionals, government health authorities, and third-party experts to implement several proactive preventative measures to protect the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff. These measures are in effect as we prepare to open and will remain in effect for the entirety of the 2021 season. These are not only to protect your own personal health and safety, but also the health and safety of other patrons. As such, failure to follow all of the guidelines below, at all times during your stay, will lead to a revocation of camping privileges and the requirement to leave the property immediately. This loss of camping privileges will extend to include the entire 2022 season as well.

Civeo has enhanced its protocols and there may be differences in the way cleaning and maintenance occur at the site. If you have questions or concerns about this, please ask and we will be happy to share. We ask that you remain respectful of Christina Lake Lodge staff as they work to make your stay as safe and comfortable as they can.

Provided below are some of the measures you will see in place this season during your stay at Christina Lake Lodge. Please read them carefully. If you do not understand any of these measures, please reach out in advance of your stay.

Cohort Groups and Social Distancing: We require that guests refrain from interacting with other patrons and stay within their cohort group following the latest Alberta Health Services guidelines, while in the campsite and general use areas. If you leave your campsite and should you come in proximity to others who are not in your cohort group, please respect the mandatory minimum physical distancing of two (2) metres and wear a mask or face covering.

Mandatory Mask / Face Covering Use: While we encourage people to wear a mask or face covering at all times when outside their campsite, when in close proximity (two metres or less) to other individuals, not in your cohort, wearing a mask or face covering will be mandatory.

Food & Beverage Services: The dining room will be closed to guests. Food and beverage options for lunch and dinner will be offered through our take-out service. No breakfast service will be available. Masks or face coverings are required while picking up food and beverages.

Water Service: Guests will be required to sanitize their hands before using the water service equipment. A sanitizer station will be provided.

Boat Rentals: To address physical distancing on the dock, a limited number of boats will be made available for rent. Guest will also be required to bring their own personal life preserver. Boats will also be sanitized thoroughly in between rentals.

Commissary: Following provincial guidelines, we will be limiting the number of guests in the store at any given time to the posted maximum occupancy. Guests will also be required to wear a mask or face covering while adhering to the two-metre physical distancing guideline.

Public Washrooms: Guests who require the use of public washrooms are asked to respect other patrons and reduce the number of touchpoints and use hand sanitizer before and after use. Masks or face coverings must be worn in the washrooms.

Community: Guests of Christina Lake Lodge are asked to respect the Health & Safety of the area residents and avoid going to the community. However, if you must, please follow all guidelines closely and refrain from interacting with local residents

Failure to follow these measures could lead to further restrictions on camping by the Government of Alberta and/or Christina Lake Lodge

There may be other site rules and protocols that will apply to the site based on a number of factors such as government restrictions or guideline updates. This information will be available at the site.

We look forward to welcoming you to Christina Lake Lodge for another fun-filled and safe summer making new memories with family and friends.
